Mushroom Range between .5”-1”
The Uranium Bounce Mushroom (Ricordea yuma) is a rare designer soft coral prized for its nearly electric green “uranium” coloration and bounce nodules. This collector’s favorite adds luminous vibrancy and bounce-texture to any reef display.
Care Guide:
-
Lighting: Prefers moderate to low LED lighting. Strong actinic blue or violet spectrum enhances fluorescence without bleaching.
-
Water Flow: Gentle, indirect flow enough to cause subtle movement without stressing the tissue.
-
Placement: Lower to middle area of the tank, on rock or rubble. Allow room for expansion and bouncing.
-
Water Parameters: Maintain standard stable reef conditions, temperature 75-80°F, salinity around 1.024-1.026, pH 8.1-8.4.
-
Feeding: Primarily photosynthetic; occasional target feeding with micro-plankton, copepods or small meaty frozen foods boosts health and color.
-
Frag Size: Approximately 0.5 to 1 inch for this frag size.
A striking addition for high-impact reef tanks or zoa gardens where glowing color and bounce matter.
